It all started years ago, not in an office or a tasting room, but on a journey through the vineyards of Europe. The founder, passionate about wine and gastronomy, visited regions like Burgundy, Rioja or Tuscany not as a tourist, but as an attentive student. He collected stories from the cellars, listened to winegrowers talking about varieties with the respect of a parent for his child and understood a simple but profound truth: wine is not a product. It is a language. And when combined with gastronomy, it becomes poetry.
But his native Bucharest did not yet have that place where wine and food could truly express themselves. This is how the idea of ProWine GastroBar was born – not a restaurant, not a wine bar, but a complete experience, where taste is treated with rigor, and guests are welcomed with soul.
From dream to reality…
After months of searching, planning and strategies, in 2025, in an emblematic space – in the premises of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, right across from the Arc de Triomphe – ProWine GastroBar was inaugurated. The location is no coincidence: it is a place of performance, discipline and excellence – values that have been transformed into standards.
The interior design was designed to “intertwine” the dishes in the kitchen with the wines in the display cases. Every corner is bright and open, creating a relaxed but elegant atmosphere, where conversations flow as easily as a well-aerated Chardonnay.
More than a menu – an orchestra of taste
The gastronomy at ProWine GastroBar is not a simple accompaniment to wine. It is a dance partner, created by chefs with experience in international cuisines. The menu ranges from light dishes for business lunches to refined dinners paired with collection wines.

With over 400 wine labels and 50 premium champagnes, the selection was built with a curatorial approach. Each bottle was chosen not only for its reputation, but for its story and pairing potential.
ProWine GastroBar is an official Veuve Clicquot location, and collaborations with local and international producers transform the liquid menu into a veritable wine atlas.

What makes the difference, however, is not only the quality of the wines or the refinement of the dishes, but the people. The ProWine GastroBar team, made up of experienced sommeliers, chefs and waiters, is trained not only in service, but in sincere hospitality.
